The most beautiful autumn weekend by memory. Well, not so much the weekend, a little warm, even swampy to qualify as "BEST EVER" but the drive from Wesley to Unity was, hands down, super ultra amazing!

I chose not to take photos while driving so this is the beginning of the adventure...

Stay tuned for Hurricane Jacob evidence. I had some help thinning the woods, this time with another saw, and the chips were flying! 'Cob and Cedar watched from inside, and Cedar admitted that he is a bit like Dogmatix, he doesn't like it when trees come down. He doesn't have a problem when he is the one doing it, but chainsaws (thankfully) put the fear of god in him!
It didn't feel like October, and we barely needed fires, but had a couple outside to herald in the seasonal shift, and that Cedar would likely not be up until his next birthday in a handful of months. It's a bittersweet transition, leaving the p~pad from a stay, buttoning up for the winter.
Alas, such as it is for now. Cedar has some plans though, in fact, he has admitted to having many plans...
